
Alex completed her professional practice in 2003-2004 under the guidance of Gavan Lethlean, Principal of valuerCo, a specialized valuation company where she was exposed to a variety of valuations, such as hotels, motels and businesses.
Alex completed the Bachelor of Business (Valuations) degree at RMIT University in 2004 and became an Associate of the Australian Property Institutes (AAPI), Certified Practising Valuer in 2006. In addition Alex has completed the REIV’s Agents Representative course in 2005. Alex has gained a wide knowledge of residential property markets throughout metropolitan Melbourne, including specialised expertise with new home builders and with house and land packages. In recent times Alex has completed rural compensation valuations, commercial and industrial property and country hotels.
Alex grew up in the Western District of Victoria on a grazing (super fine wool) and cropping property and has always had a keen interest in rural and city real estate. She was initially introduced to the property industry 1998, when she completed her work experience at Estate Agents, Hill & Parkinson in Kew. Her interest in property continues to grow and she is actively involved in Australian Property Institute (API) events and maintains an interest in both the urban and rural property market.
